cyber

Cyberabad police has cracked down on a gang of cybercriminals. These gangs were preparing to sell the data of 67 crore users on the dark web. But the question is how did so much data get leaked. Who is responsible behind this data leak and how the data is leaked.

The biggest data leak case has come to the fore in India so far. Cyberabad police has revealed such a cartel which was preparing to sell the data of about 70 crore people. This gang was being run from Faridabad.

So far only discussions are taking place regarding the Data Protection Bill. If there was a solid law for consumer data protection, then probably such a huge data leak would not have happened in India. However, today let’s talk about what is data and how it gets leaked. We will also tell you how to find out whether your data has been leaked or not.

Where did the data come from?

It is being told that this data was of 24 states and 8 metro cities. We keep telling you the news of data leak continuously. Something similar has happened here as well. Most of the data in this large database is of students which has been stolen from Ed Tech companies.

These ed tech companies include Baju and Vendatu. Apart from this, data of about 1.84 lakh cab users is also included in this database.

Surprisingly, this database includes data of companies like Instagram, Amazon, Netflix, YouTube, Paytm, PhonePay, Zomato, Policybazaar, UPSTOX, Bookmyshow and Polycibaazar.
