With an experience of over 21 years, Sivasubramanian M has joined Welspun Corp as Chief Digital Officer (Sr. Vice President – IT & Digital). He brings with him his experience as Global CIO at VA TECH WABAG, as well as his extensive work in major corporations and conglomerates in the engineering, construction & Process industry.
A global conglomerate, Welspun Group has diverse businesses including Line Pipes, Home Textiles, Infrastructure, Warehousing, Oil & Gas, Steel, Advanced Textiles, and Flooring Solutions. It has presence in 50 countries and employs more than 26,000 people. Welspun has established itself as a prominent player in the global market. Headquartered in Mumbai, Welspun Corp’s manufacturing facilities strategically span across India, the USA, and Saudi Arabia.
Sivasubramanian also holds the position of President at CIO Association, Chennai Chapter. He is also actively involved as the Secretary of the SVCE Alumni Association, showcasing his dedication to professional networking and community engagement.
He has a B.Tech. degree in Chemical Engineering and also an MBA with a specialization in Information Systems, and certifications from IIM Bangalore on Digital Strategy. He also did a diploma in Cyber Law that showcases his commitment to staying at the forefront of legal and regulatory developments in the digital space.
